ABOUT RIT
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology,
named after the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, started functioning in 1991.
The college is owned and managed by Govt. of Kerala and is one among the leading institutions
in higher engineering education in Kerala.
The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala and is recognized
by All India Council for Technical Education. The institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course in five disciplines,
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course, Master of Technology (M.Tech) course in five specializations, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course and Ph.D in various disciplines. The institute has state of the art facilities for pursuing high end research work.
The college offers Doctoral programmes and is an approved Quality Improvement Program Centre.
Over the years ,RIT has emerged as a centre of excellence in the technical education scenario in the state through the dedicated efforts of the faculty and staff .
The institute has bagged various awards in research centric activities as well as other academic activities.
