NSS has started functioning in this institution from 1997-98 onwards. Principal nominates the NSS Programme Officer. Volunteers are selected from students. Besides programme officer, our NSS unit comprises of two volunteer secretaries and ten executive members. Executive committee meets every fortnightly and general body once in a month. Student volunteer secretary co-ordinates all social activities within and outside the campus under the guidance of programme officer. Special camps are organized with the help of local bodies. Social service is also undertaken in nearby villages to study socio-economic status of nearby people.
